T-MOTOR the Priciple of Electronic lock for propeller - V60A 14S Release

What is V60A 14S ?

It is designed for VTOL to fix propeller in flying. Normally, the motors on the arm of VTOL only need to work when taking off. The swing propellers in wind not only bring resistance to overall efficiency. That's more obvious in long-time flying like more 10+ hours. What’s worse, it will causes flight hazards. In the market, mang engineers always have been developing how to fix propeller to solve the two main questions as above. V60A 14S is programed to have this function to meet needs for users.

Let check the working priciple

It is electronic lock for propeller based mutual interaction under motor and ESC. There is an encoder with a socket on the bottom of motor, which is used to detact the position of motor. Before using, users need to plug the extre wire of V ESC into the socket. When the encoder detacts motors in standby mode, it will tells V ESC to release force by current to stop propeller in swing. If the wind is stronger, the released force will be inceased to resist?wind to keep propeller fixed. On the contrary, the released force will be decrease with the wind is gentle. In this way, the efficiency can be improved at most. Surely, it is all setted before flying and it will works automatically.

Amazing techniques

The propeller can be fixed in horizonal, vertical or any angels of 360°. ?For example, you need horizonal one in the first flying. However, you need vertical one in some special conditions. After the first flying, you can take motor out and set vertical one with upper computer software.

How to achieve that:

It needs to use computer. After all connections (motor, esc and power), we can set the fixed position(angel) with upper computer?software . We’re perfecting the whloe process and program. Pls kindly waiting for our instruction video.

It can be used in very strong wind ? What is the maximal wind speed ?

The anwser is 120km/h. Are you satisfied with this speed ?

Let’s talk about its strengths comparing with locking propeller by magnet by mechanics

As we know, in recent years, manufacturers in the market add the magnets into the motor.

The propellers can fixed from the internal resistances from their own magnetic field. There are main disadvantages.

1 It will adds the weight of every motor. You can image something when you have more than 8 motors in uav. However, no weight is added for electronic lock for propeller.

2 It is mechanical and the motor should overcome itself resistance to work, which will reduce effieciency. However, no internal resistance for electronic lock for propeller.

3 The lock position (angel) is only one and can’t be setted others. However, you can set any angel what you want for electronic lock for propeller.
