India currently ranks as the world's fifth-largest economy, following the United States, China, Germany, and Japan. According to a 2023 report by Knight Frank, the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) in India, defined as those with a net worth exceeding $30 million, stood at 12,069. This figure is expected to surge by 58.4% by 2027. Moreover, on Forbes' 2023 list of the top 20 countries with the most billionaires, India holds the third spot, behind the USA and China, with 168 individuals.
