Today lets co-share and learn about System Design and Design thinking and what each means. System Design and Design thinking mean one and the same thing. Its speaks about the process of designing a system with the persona who is to interact with the system in mind. The heart of the design process takes a wholistic view or big picture thinking looking at the individual consumer or customer or end user if you will. This is otherwise termed the Human Computer Interaction or Human Centered Design. Its all concepts and ideas which speaks about an Ideal state during the development, delivery and deployment of information and communication systems. The process steps, stages, format, framework, checklist, templates are: Empathize (putting yourself in the customers shoes), Define (the problem), Ideate, Prototype (Proof of concept), and Test. That is the look and feel of the System Design or Design Thinking.
