SYNLAB partners Holy Child Catholic Hospital in blood donation exercise

The Holy Child Catholic Hospital in partnership with SYNLAB Ghana, held a blood donation exercise to mark this year’s World Blood Donor day on 14th June 2022 at Fijai , Sekondi Takoradi.

The theme for this year’s World Blood Donor day is “Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives." This is to encourage more people to donate blood and also create awareness on the benefits of blood donation to the community.

The exercise was undertaken to replenish the depleted blood reserves at the hospital and with support from SYNLAB the hospital was able to provide appreciation gifts for the scores of donors who came through to donate blood. Special gifts were also given to donors who have donated more than seven times at the hospital as an incentive to others.
