Key Challenges

Our client already had a web platform where they helped digital nomads connect with counselors and consultants. However, the platform was primitive in terms of features, to say the least.

There were several issues and the platform lacked in various aspects, which made it practically non-functional at the moment. We, at SynergyTop, rose to the occasion and made sure we transformed the platform into a feature-loaded and fully functional one.?

Some of the key challenges that we identified during detailed discussions with our clients were:?

• Uncertainty about the payment gateway: Our client was not sure what payment gateway to integrate with their platform. Also, they were unaware of the Stripe integration process and thus, unable to add a payment functionality to the platform.
• Lack of feedback mechanism: The main function of the website was to foster interactions between digital nomads and consultants. However, the platform lacked a proper feedback loop. Users (digital nomads) had no way to share their feedback about the sessions they had with the consultants. Of course, any issues they raised via any channels were difficult to track and resolve.?
• Design limitations: Our client’s business idea was great. However, their web app didn’t do justice to that. While the lack of functionality was one reason, the platform also had a lackluster design. The website’s UI and UX were below average and did nothing to make it stand out.

Once we identified the key issues that were limiting the growth potential of our client’s web app, we decided to select a technology stack to make sure that the web app was designed and developed to perfection.?

We crafted a user-friendly design for the web app using the design tool, Figma. Once the client had given a thumbs-up to the design, we converted it to code using HTML/CSS and used WordPress to build the website CMS integrated with React.?

We developed and implemented an end-to-end process for feedback sharing. The platform now allows digital nomads to share feedback about the consultants they engaged with and also raise issues. A streamlined issue-resolution mechanism was also developed. These systems fostered better communication between customers and consultants.

Earlier, consultants and customers had to virtually connect from outside the platform upon session booking. We integrated Zoom into the web app, which allows consultants to take video conferencing sessions with customers without having to leave the platform. Stripe payment was also integrated to make sure that payments can be safely and easily made via the platform.?

• Global Consultant Search

The platform had a wide array of consultants onboard who catered to customers in different languages and across different countries. We implemented a smart search feature that helps digital nomads find and connect with the most suitable consultants based on their language and location.?

• Efficient Backend Management

Fancy web apps, which are easy to use for customers often have complicated backends, which make routine management difficult for business owners and decision-makers. We, however, made sure that our clients had a robust admin dashboard that they could use to easily manage users, consultants, languages, and WhatsApp groups.

• Robust Reporting

A standout feature of our admin dashboard was that it included various reports. These reports don’t just help the managers get a bird’s eye view of their business operations but also allow diving deep into the specifics. It also facilitates addressing customer issues promptly and ensuring quick resolution.

• Scheduling Made Easy

We added a new functionality to the digital consultancy platform. Consultants can now set up their calendars and set their availability. They can also generate Zoom links for meetings and easily request customer feedback after sessions.?
