Ernest Partridge once challenged our thoughts regarding the concept of synergetic education where he asked 4 critical and crucial questions:
- What is synergy?
- What concept does it endorse?
- How the concepts are logically related?
- What are the goals of the synergetic educators?
These crucial thought provoking questions are in a way or another pinpoint an interesting one more question: in the context of current educational trends, fashions, and discourse. Is synergetic education likely to have an impact in order to make a difference? Does it endorse both the talented and passionate educators along with accurate internal processes?
I venerated Cambridge simple definition of synergy where it is the combined power of a group of things when they are working together that is greater than total power achieved by each working separately: teamwork at its best results in a synergy that can be very productive.
I personally practiced the synergetic spirit and endorsement through teaching, in both the women leadership MBA program and undergraduate program, at Synergy University, Dubai campus.
I perceived the synergetic concept that Synergy University endorses where I’m eager to share in brief what I’ve learnt about fostering synergy in the academic education from the senior lecturer outlook:
At Synergy University, there’s charming willingness among the whole team to inject their diverse perspectives into synergetic alliances through four critical success factors:
- effective interaction,
- genuine appreciation,
- heartfelt understanding,
- and proper implementation.
For me as a kind of person who is extremely passionate about teaching and who doesn’t dream of success, but work enthusiastically for it, I must say that this formula of success factors generate mutual trust and credibility and opens room for creativity and innovation where its biggest outcome is “an outstanding teaching experience”.
This formula of success enriches the whole teaching/ learning experience not only for me but for my MBA students as well. Let me quote one of their valuable testimonials:
I had the best learning experience ever full of knowledge, best practices, self-reflection, and fun. I welcome the opportunity to re-attend this module so many times with you" Dhouha Besrour, director.
This synergy between trust and commitment assure that Synergy University is more than education. It’s a place for every passion to grow and excel.
I believe that the universities that adopt these success factors throughout its whole channel of lectures, students, and internal processes are in their way not to reach the sky but away beyond the sky itself!
