Fort Lauderdale, FL) September 28, 2023 – Symphony of the Americas Board of Directors has elected Carmen Castillo as its new President. Ms. Castillo takes on this role from prior long-term President Robert Roselli, who officially becomes “immediate past-president.”

Symphony of the Americas has undergone substantial changes in the last three years under the leadership of Artistic & Music Director Pablo Mielgo, and Executive Director Steven Haines. Together, they have revitalized The Symphony, creating a fresh new voice through the musical diversity of the programs, patrons, and the organization’s expansion efforts. The quality of Symphony of the Americas has transformed. Symphony of the Americas has doubled the number of its performances while increasing its audience by over 80%.

Carmen Castillo is President and CEO of SDI International Corp.
