There is? nothing that I have read ?in the past fifty years that is refreshingly innovative. All the great writers have borrowed or honed a manuscript utilizing a word, a phrase, a sentence, or an entire thought while failing to give notice or recognition as they picked up the bounty.
?Hemingway did it, For Whom the Bell Tolls lifted from the bible, as did? Through a Glass Darkly. The revered Martin Luther King did it in his Doctoral Thesis and in his renowned “I have a Dream” speech! Joseph Biden, the current president of the USA did it as well and was forced to resign a race for office. Not to say these were not? great books or wonderful authors or spell binding orators. I respect them all, but we are talking about giving proper credit where credit is most due…credit for the truly thought-provoking thesis or the creative story!
?A self-taught scientist, Alfred Russel Wallace was? Charles Darwin’s sharer. Darwin not only stole what Wallace wrote but also what Wallace thought because they were corresponding as scientist. Darwin, a brilliant man, must have had “other fish to fry,” because he transcribed “On the Tendency of Verities to Depart.” In its entirety as his thesis on Natural Selection. To his credit, Darwin did inform the scientific society of his collaboration? with his student.
This author does not pretend to be original, If I knew who to credit, I would have been more giving. I should have been more thorough when first I began to think and develop thought into sentences.? It is after all rather ridiculous for any of us to think that we are that inventive. Therefore, to those from whence it came…thank you? for the enlightenment. All of my work has been written over the past several thousand years by someone beginning before DuFu!
The persons and events in this book are characters and incidents of my imagination. The greatest part of my labor has been in living through a system which forced me to witness the drama that was translated into the production? of this book. Yes, this is mine and mine alone. I doubt there is a single soul wanting to live through this experience. The courts, the time in prison, the appeal prepared me for a book of fiction because there is nothing real about representative government except the pain it imposes on thousands of innocent people.
?Any reference therefore to any living persons and actual events which have not been cited? is an honest oversight. To all those “someone else’s’…I am indebted, and you have my thanks.
?DEDICATION
This is the first holiday that I have not been with my five daughters due to the prison sentence nor my son (Welby Thomas III) who died in the line of? duty as a police officer in ?2007. I am so very proud of these wonderful people who prove the value of hard work, dedication and love is the best formula for happiness and success. Between us, we speak a language that only we can hear!

Author’s Note: This is a large, heady book which is devoted most especially to all our beloved women who have been sexually assaulted, maimed or murdered. It is gut wrenching and should not be shared with our youth or any one suffering from abuse.
