Sydney | Salesforce Tower

Salesforce Tower is the centrepiece of Sydney Place and the heart of the modern regeneration of Sydney’s Circular Quay precinct.

Officially Sydney’s tallest office building, the 55-storey, 253-metre tower is designed to accommodate a community of approximately 5,500 workers and a collective of some of the country’s – and the world’s – most innovative organisations.

Designed by Foster + Partners, one of the world’s leading architectural firms, Salesforce Tower represents the very latest thinking in design for new ways of working.

The result is a building profoundly centred on people, delivering hyper-efficient use of space – every part of the floor is useable, visible, and connected – and encouraging more human connections.

The tower also showcases a signature engineering feature, with part of the building’s structural bracing applied externally, creating the form of an elegant white tree – a beautiful and unique addition to the Sydney skyline.

Every aspect of Salesforce Tower has been created through the lenses of sustainability and wellness, acknowledged with WELL Certification at the Platinum Level. This is the highest certification available from the International WELL Building Institute under its WELL Building Standard, a performance-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring features of buildings that impact the health of people who occupy them.

The Tower features a suite of wellness attributes that contribute to making it one of the healthiest workplaces in the country. These include a sustainable ‘green building’ ethos, a management team that actively promotes positive values such as inclusiveness, respect and engagement, and a physical environment that sustains wellness through democratic access to natural light and views, and innovative workspace design that encourages autonomy and flexibility.

Salesforce Tower at Sydney Place, a new office tower in the heart of the city is set to reinvigorate its surrounding urban precinct that forms part of Sydney’s iconic Circular Quay.

The tower makes a distinctive contribution to Sydney’s skyline with its innovative fa?ade – a series of external cross-braces derived from structural stress diagrams. The south fa?ade is broken into three bays with the concrete cores 'book-ending' the three transparent banks of lifts that animate the fa?ade. The entire elevation is vertically articulated to modulate its visual impact on the skyline.

The innovative workspaces at?Salesforce Tower?are flexibly designed to support new ways of working in the 21st?century, suitable for a whole range of organisations, from new start-ups to large companies.

The offset core and column free workspaces maximise views of Sydney Harbour, and create a workspace that optimises community, collaboration, wellbeing, and productivity for workers.

The tower aims to achieve NABERS 5 Star energy performance, a Green Star rating of 6, and is the first ever building in Sydney to achieve WELL Core and Shell pre-certification rating.

The city centre location provides occupants with an abundance of low carbon transport alternatives, including short walking distances to train stations, ferry terminals, and the new light rail network along George Street.

The design builds on the low carbon transport approach with a cycle storage facility, with capacity for 250 bikes and a maintenance station in Sydney’s first ever public bike hub.
