SXSW, Inclusive Innovation and Shark Tank

Wait. Is the author of the linked article saying that we are weird, crazy or amazing? The latter for sure, but maybe all.

We are on the ground today at SXSW - over 80,000 people attend this conference and festival for inspiration to innovate in technology, music and film. We will learn and share, meet new people and deepen our relationship with friends from across the nation.

In my role as Executive Director of the Center for Urban Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at Rutgers Business School (business.rutgers.edu/cueed), I will participate on a panel and in day long programming focused on helping diverse entrepreneurs to get capital to start and grow their tech ventures.

It's noteworthy that some shark like people will be "in the house." What we mean is that there will be a casting call for the popular television show Shark Tank -- with an emphasis on finding businesses owned by people of color. I can get you in to make your pitch if you are in Austin, TX today...

Looking forward to putting some inclusivity on your innovation at the Inclusive Innovation House. Over 2,000 people have RSVP'ed and I sure hope that you are one of them.

I'm really encouraged by the combination of technology, music, film and entrepreneurship. Our company is a blending of these into a formula for success of a large segment of talented individuals. Our major product, IndyBuild.com, is garnering a very encouraging amount of attention from audiences like the one you described.
