This month, we hosted a successful webinar focused on supporting residents most in need through our Energy Voucher Service and the Housing Fuel Poverty Index, powered by Switchee. We shared insights on how our services help identify at-risk households and provide immediate relief, ensuring residents stay warm and comfortable as winter approaches.

?? New live chat feature for residents
We have upped our game when it comes to supporting social housing residents this winter. Now, residents with a Switchee installed will be able to contact our support team live in the Switchee Resident app through the new chat feature! Similar to the chat feature on our website, when a resident opens the chat they will be connected with our Switchee bot that will gather necessary information and perform basic troubleshooting. If our bot can't resolve the issue, they will be connected with a member of our wonderful support team.??
We are always looking to make the resident experience better, and the Switchee Resident app enables them to use their Switchee more efficiently. With easy to set heating schedules, accessibility features, and more transparency into how they use energy, the Switchee Resident app empowers residents to play a more active role in maintaining a warm and safe home.?

?? Shamir?joins Switchee as Head of External Affairs
We are delighted that Shamir Hale has joined us as our Head of External Affairs. His appointment in a newly created position is a declaration of intent for Switchee to strengthen our relationships with parliamentarians, government, and partners across the social housing sector.
Shamir has had a successful career across the public and third sectors including in housing and the environment. Further, his experience and network across Parliament, Whitehall, and regional government will turbocharge Switchee's ability to support policymakers, using our unparalleled data, insights, and convening power to improve national social housing stock, reduce bills for social housing tenants, and contribute greatly to meeting net zero targets.
???Switchee Mitchee?October Highlights!
This month, Switchee Mitchee kicked off in the North East, supporting Equans UK & Ireland and Newcastle City Council at Shieldfield Towers. Residents embraced an exciting decarbonisation project that’s set to improve energy efficiency with new air source heat pumps, smart thermostats, and more. We showed how Switchee helps create safer, warmer homes.?
Later, we brought our magic to Haig Housing in Morden, engaging with residents to help them heat their homes more efficiently as winter approaches.?
