In next month's data and retrofit-focused?webinar, we explore how social housing providers Southwark Council and Unitas Stoke-on-Trent?have used data analytics to inform and validate their retrofit projects. ??How can social landlords assess whether retrofit is delivering intended performance improvements?
The push for decarbonisation is driving the need to retrofit older properties, not only to reduce environmental impact but also to enhance residents' quality of life. These improvements aim to mitigate temperature extremes, lower energy costs, and improve indoor air quality.
However, the focus has often been on completing retrofit projects rather than evaluating their long-term effectiveness. To address this, Inside Housing is hosting a CPD webinar where Martin Hilditch, Editor, Inside Housing, will be joined by Arman Heshemi, Senior Lecturer at the University of East London's Sustainability Research Institute. Together, they will discuss the key factors in assessing retrofit impact, review current data on various methods, and outline the necessary steps for ongoing evaluation.
