Switch Fu is Proud to Present: Jay Kirssin
As we move out of 2016 and into 2017 we have good news and better news. The good news is our bassist and good friend Jason Mescia has departed to play saxophone for YAM YAM full time. They are touring the mid Atlantic and we couldn't be happier for Jason and the rest of the guys in the Yam. Hopefully when the opportunity presents we will be able to co-book and rock out for everyone together!
The better news is that we are fortunate to have a new bass player so soon! Please welcome Recording Academy member, and long time music industry professor from HACC, Jay Kirssin. Jay has been in several successful projects over his career including 20 years with the internationally renowned Rosie and the Naturals. Jay has the best ears in the region and has mastered many of the albums coming from the talent rich Harrisburg area today.
We have taken a short break from booking to transition and are excited to come back with a vengeance on March 9th at Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center opening for our friends SeepeopleS from Portland, Maine. Come check that out and see what Jay brings to the mix. It's going to be epic..
