Hey FinTech Fanatic!

From the Alps, comes amnis, a FinTech specializing in international banking for SMEs, which has just secured CHF 10 million in its Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to CHF 19.37 million ($21.3 million). This round, led by Swisscom Ventures, marks the startup’s largest round to date.

Founded in 2014 by Michael Wüst, Robert Bloch, and Philippe Christen, amnis focuses on reducing transaction costs, simplifying team expenses, and automating accounting tasks. “We deliberately chose an investor structure that aligns with our long-term strategy,” said Wüst, CEO. “With Swisscom Ventures, we are writing a new chapter in our company’s history. The involvement of such a prominent representative of the tech market confirms the strength of our platform and our readiness for the next phase.”

Over the past year, its payment volume doubled, fueled by demand for its debit card and expense management features. With over 3,000 companies across 35 countries using its platform, amnis is now expanding its services, including e-commerce solutions, deeper accounting integrations, and embedded card offerings.
