The Journey in Pursuit of My Purpose!

The Journey in Pursuit of My Purpose!

What do you think is impossible for you to accomplish?

The time has come to start your Dream Career Journey to unlock the purpose of your highest potential. The only thing standing in the way of realizing the unlimited possibilities your life holds are limiting beliefs about you and your world

We are going to become someone. That much is certain. The question is: Who are we going to be? And how specific and intentional will we be in that creation process? The more specific the vision, the more clear the path and the more potent the motivation. We choose your purpose and then we give our whole soul to that purpose. In due time, we will transform.

You’re the one who decides who you become. Not some Hiring Manager, Your SOciety, Your Family or Some Personality test, and certainly not your past.

So, Who will you choose to be?

What is your purpose in life? Why should there be a purpose in life? How do we exercise purpose?

The definition of purpose according to Wiki.

The reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. A person's sense of resolve or determination.
Have as one's intention or objective. It goes on to say why you do something or why something exists. Why does one exist?

Our Grand Ambassador Dr. Ali??Anani, Brand Ambassador?published a triad of buzzes centering?purpose.?Following simple Rules of life's?comments are a witness to each one's own understanding of purpose.

In?Is It Better to Have More Choices??Harvey Lloyd said, "My values drive my success as I bring value to others." These words by Harvey are golden.?

I see value as the base foundation for our purpose, the value that we bring exercises our purpose.

For our values help us grow, learn and achieve success. And when it is purpose driven, we add value to those we meet who are part of the journey we are on.?

For we do not grow alone, we use the immediate surrounding and the people around us to grow and shine. And when we shine, we shed light enabling others to see a well defined path -Fatima Williams

I once quoted Friedrich Nietzsche: "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how".

We can see in these words a motto which holds true for anything in life.

A two-year study by National Institute of mental health asked 7948 students what they considered very important to them. 16% said making money and 78% said their first goal was finding meaning and purpose in life.

Victor Frankl says Man (that's you and me)

is able to live and die for the sake of his ideals and values. We all need something to live and with purpose induced growth in the centre, we can achieve the satisfaction we desire.

An active life serves the purpose of giving man the opportunity to realize values in creative work, while a passive life of enjoyment affords him the opportunity to obtain fulfillment in experiencing beauty, art, or nature.?Most people live a passive life does that mean an active life is not good. I'm left pondering on the above statement. Our attitude to our existence in the world we live in is an existence restricted by external forces!

Sara Jacobovici?asked me quoting her below,

"My only question would be, how do you define passive? For me, whatever we do is an active process; active is an external process, while passive is an internal process. We still engage actively in both."?

It's taken me alot of thinking, understanding, and reasoning to reply to this important question.

The internal process is value driven purpose - Which is INTENTIONALITY. This would emerge from within if we engage in

"Pure Understanding, Realizing?one's?Potential,?being?Omnipresent?and?Serving?the people around?us?Empirically"

While We are all still on the journey of allowing our purpose to find us, I resonate with the saying that man does not live by bread alone. Not just?by achieving materialistic things but by absorbing the experiences, he encounters every day.?

Empirically tested Purpose stands the test of time.?

Rather than asking ourselves what is my Purpose in life. We must ask the question what is our purpose at any given moment. What is the intention behind every thought, actions and result that we yearn to achieve.

Is it? - To share our thoughts and enlighten?each other, learn, grow, add value, lead by example etc.

Dr. Ian Weinberg?says?"Purpose without the courage to engage risks the development of purposelessness"

Purpose differs from man to man and time to time and the situation he is in.?What matters is how well we are able to utilize our existence at any given moment in life. That defines our Purpose.

Everyone's purpose is as unique as is his specific responsibility to achieve?it.?We need Logospurpose.(Victor Frankl).?

We must have the courage that our hopelessness does not detract us from our dignity and meaningful purpose in life.

Sara Jacobovici?says?"Our?beliefs and values give reason and intention to purpose. We can have purpose, but only through choice do we activate purpose"?

We must have the courage to make the right choices to activate our values with Intentionality.

Why should you live with intentionality?

When you pursue your dreams and goals intentionally and strategically, defining yourself with a Label such as a certain “type” of person, or giving yourself a specific label, may be a driving factor. For instance, Jeff Goins had always wanted to be a writer, but hadn’t done anything about it. Yet, when he labeled himself as a “writer,” that identification bolstered him to start writing, and, ultimately, he became a successful author. Thus, Goins was intentional about the label he chose, and that label helped him achieve his goals.

My Mentor Dr . Benjamin Hardy says: "Your personality should come from your goals. Your goals shouldn’t come from your personality"

What he means to say is we can change our personality to who we want to become, because our personality isn’t permanent. Infact you read his book, “ Personality Isn’t Permanent”

You are not a single and narrow “type” of person. In different situations and around different people, you are different. Your personality is dynamic, flexible, and contextual. Moreover, your personality changes throughout your life, far more than you can presently imagine.

At different stages and seasons of your life, you’re going to display a different personality

Harvard psychologist Dr. Daniel Gilbert says, “Human beings are works in progress that mistakenly think they’re finished."

"Do what you are passionate about and look how to make it useful for the world?all within respect for others and treating them the way you like to be treated. My purpose in life shall then find me" By?Dr. Ali Anani?

?Ali Anani, Brand Ambassador,?Sara Jacobovici?&?Harvey Lloyd?my mentors inspired me to write this article. I dedicate this to the members of the WPD family and to?CityVP??Manjit.

Purpose is the missing link in a lot of our modern days. We surf the flow of unlimited information with only very primitive tools to help us scroll to the right stuff. When we navigate with a sense of purpose, we are better oriented to what serves us and what depletes us. I know you have a deep and strong purpose, Fatima Williams, and a will to add value to many people as you live your best life.
