Wileyfox: Product Launch
Playful new mobile brand Wileyfox launched in 2015, aiming to disrupt the market with its value-for-money high spec handsets. We were chosen to lead PR across Europe, as well as organising a large-scale media launch event.
Think: we designed the launch event to reflect the disruptive and playful nature of the brand. A newly opened central London venue played host to an ‘out-of-the-norm’ space, with media only receiving cryptic teasers prior to the day
Feel: our media strategy was also in sync with the Wileyfox brand ethos. We engaged key tech and lifestyle journalists by hand delivering their portraits in giant chocolate slabs
Do: 85+ pieces of coverage generated from the launch event, accounting for 421m impressions and catapulting the unknown brand to centre stageAs well as making a huge splash, Wileyfox was kept in the spotlight through our continued media relations work – including handset review programmes.
