SweetArt Bake Expo | Sweet Treats and Great Fun

With Ease Magazine proudly presented their third annual event, SweetArt Bake Expo.

SweetArt Bake Expo truly brought something for everyone who came out to support the event from baker, retailer ,distributor, manufacturer, buyers and of course the sponsors. On Sunday May 28 2017, the Ballroom of the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel was transformed into a haven of sweet treats for those with a sweet tooth. The room was lined with delectable treats from brands ranging from cupcakes to brownies.

The day commenced with a Cupcake decorating challenge where individuals competed against each other to decorate a cupcake in five minutes. The exciting challenge featured 5 females and a lone male known as "Andrew" who had the support of his wife and mother who cheered on in the audience. For this segment the design dubbed as "Merry Merry", because of it's festive appearance was named the winner.

The day continued with a pre-decorated cake challenge and live Cake decorating challenge that saw some of the Islands most talented Bakers facing off to see who had the better design and concept.

This pre-decorated cake challenge competition featured a Spongebob cake, an Eiffel Tower cake and even a Rasta/Lion Cake. In the end the entry from Sweet Mischief was named the winner and Camille Flynn of Cake Couture was the winner of the Live Cake Decorating challenge.
