The sweet pain of being a working mother.

Remember that strong, party and dedicated woman you were before giving birth? The one who vowed to conquer motherhood and her career? Well, meet her now – a little sleep-deprived, maybe a little more emotional, but undeniably a superhero.
?Sure, I pictured myself as this working mama who could do it all. Formula? No problem. Late nights? Bring it on. Working late? I’m trained for that. Girlfriends’ time? Therapy for the soul. Sexy wife? Oh baby, even in spit-up stained sweats, you got me. But motherhood snuck in and whispered, "Honey, let's rewrite the script." Now, my nights are a symphony of four to five feeding sessions, and my baby girl refuses to be parted from her "nyonyo", some girlfriends forgot I even exist, fitting back into those sexy dresses? Another story for another day.
?Exhaustion is a constant companion, but it doesn't hold a candle to the fierce love I feel for my little lovely family and the pride of leading my team at work. Every morning, I drag myself out of bed, a tired smile plastered on my face. Because at the end of the day, I get to go back home to my little world, my reason for everything with bread.

To All the Working Mamas
?
We are warriors. We carry the scars of childbirth, the exhaustion of sleepless nights fueled by a cup of tea and maybe a little depression but also the immense joy of motherhood and the satisfaction of a job well done. We juggle deadlines and diaper changes, conference calls and cuddles. We are the definition of "having it all," even if "all" sometimes feels like a “baby spit-up stains and a can-do attitude”
You know for years, I felt like I was on a treasure hunt for my talent. I dabbled in a million things, hoping something would click, but kept coming up empty-handed. Then, my beautiful Tikaboo arrived, and everything shifted. Looking at her tiny face, I realized – my talent isn't something I can write down on paper, it's something I live.? It's the fierce love that makes me sing silly songs at 3 am, the patience to repeat the same thing for the tenth time and the strength to carry her and all the worries that come with motherhood on my shoulders.? Maybe my talent isn't something the world traditionally recognizes, but to Tikaboo, it's everything.

A Message to the Leaders
?
For those managing women, remember, we're not just employees; we're daughters, wives, and mothers. Treat us with the respect we deserve. Give us space to grow, a voice to be heard, and the flexibility to navigate this crazy thing called life.
Think of it this way: would you want your mother to be treated the way you treat your female employees? If yes, you rock leadership, if no, I hope this helps you to change your leadership strategy. Let's champion equal pay, equal responsibility, and the space for women to thrive as leaders. After all, we have superpowers that men can't even compete with because it’s only God given.
?
So, mamas, take a moment. Tap your shoulders, acknowledge your awesomeness. You are raising tiny humans, leading teams, and rocking this big thing called life. We are the superwomen, and this is gift from the heavens.
