On a recent visit to their purpose built factory in Walsall, I saw that Swatkins had recently refurbished and renovated their Nickel and Silver Plating department.
After meticulous planning, a total renovation of their previous plating plant took place in August this year. Walls had to be knocked down so that space could be made available for the introduction of the huge 1200 litre tank, which will be used for Nickel plating the new Revolution Awards.
The capacity of the tank means production of the Revolution awards will be increased tenfold.
Swatkins had invested a six figure sum to renovate its plating facilities. They now have a state of the art, customised Nickel & Silver Plating plant, meaning they will be able to increase production to keep up with the growing demand.
After 117 years, spanning 3 centuries, and 5 generations of the Swatkins family, Swatkins Group Ltd are extremely proud to continue manufacturing handmade Nickel and Silver plated trophy cups in their purpose built factory in England, using only the finest materials available.
