Over the course of decades, Silicon Valley Bank had built a reputation as being the go-to bank for startups, with its aggressive lending approach and understanding of the sector. To many tech startups that may have had trouble securing much-needed capital from more traditional banks, SVB offered itself as a haven.?

Boston Beer CEO to retire
The chief executive of The Boston Beer Company , Dave Burwick, will retire next month after five years leading the company.
The maker of Sam Adams beer and Truly brand seltzer announced that Burwick will step down as president and CEO, as well as from the board of Boston Beer on April 1. He will be replaced by Michael Spillane, who is currently the company’s lead director and a board member since 2016.

Wayfair's first store will feature a restaurant
Online retailer Wayfair has been trying to make a grand entrance into physical retail for a while. It's been testing the waters with pop-ups and stores under its family of brands, but revealed that it's planning to open its first Wayfair-branded store this spring in Illinois—and that it will contain a restaurant. Showdown over MBTA Communities Act
Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell has sued Milton over its lack of compliance with the MBTA Communities housing law, asking a court to force the town to create zoning that adheres to the statute within three months.
