Is Suzuki Alto Getting Some Upgrades?

Suzuki Alto is considered the best small hatchback in Pakistan and has remained top-seller for Suzuki Pakistan for years. The car currently ranging between Rs. 2.3 million to Rs. 3.1 million is maybe the best option in the “budget car segment” and middle class families mostly go for it as their first purchase. Suzuki launched the current Alto in three variants, VX, VXR and VXL. The VXL and VXL also come with Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology. And now there is a new update circulating in the market about this car.

Speculation of Upgrades?

There is a document circulating on social media claiming some changes in Alto VXL and VXR. As per this document, Suzuki is going to introduce alloy wheels + interior color changes in Alto VXL AGS. Meanwhile, VXR Automatic (A/T) and Manual (M/T) variants will get power windows.

The document also hints at the price changes. But the question is whether this information is authentic or not. To get the answer, we decided to do our research and ask our reliable sources and this is what they told us.

The Truth

As per our reliable sources, Suzuki is currently working on it but nothing is finalized as yet. “Actually, this is quite an old plan of the company, as they planned to bring top variant in both AGS and Manual, ” they told us, adding that these cosmetic changes were in the pipeline and work was going on.

The sources concluded by saying that these changes are expected to be introduced soon but nothing is final as yet. This means we can expect these upgrades but we have to wait for them.
