Global SustainableIT Impact Awards and Symposium Announcement
Our in-person event convenes IT and Sustainability leaders to tackle the most perplexing IT sustainability challenges impacting businesses today as well as recognizing organizations that are making major strides advancing their sustainability specifically in IT. The conference and awards ceremony will showcase best practices, standards, and case studies in sustainability efforts led by CIOs and other IT leaders. The SustainableIT Impact Awards will commence at 5:00PM on October 15, 2024 followed by the SustainableIT Symposium on October 16, 2024 at 9:00AM (all times US CDT).

SustainableIT.org Regional Roundtable at Harvard University
On April 10, we had the pleasure of having our first SustainableIT.org Regional Roundtable at Harvard University. We were joined by ServiceNow, FM Global, National Grid, Fidelity Investments, Schneider Electric, The Estée Lauder Companies, Human-I-T, and many others for an afternoon of insights, best practices, and a shared commitment to sustainability, particularly in the technology sector. Book Launch of Leadership of Sustainable Futures by Futur/io
We are thrilled to announce that our Chief Sustainability Officer and Board Member Rainer Karcher is featured in the recently launched book titled Leadership for Sustainable Futuresa collection of voices from leading European Chief Sustainability Officers and expert thought leaders of the Futur/io Institute faculty. Webinar: Managing Your ESG Data with SustainableIT Standards and ServiceNow Platform

Progress on the enterprise sustainability journey requires data management that gathers and puts ESG data at the fingertips of decision makers. A best practice is to use a centralized data management platform with which users are familiar, and stick to a consistent set of metrics. Jody Elliott, head of IT Risk and Sustainability at National Grid and a SustainableIT.org European Advisor, will walk us through how he uses ServiceNow’s ESG Management platform and SustainableIT metrics to track sustainability at his multinational power utility. He will be joined by ServiceNow’s ESG Specialist Michelle Kyle. It automates collection, operationalization and archiving of ESG data and incorporates it into dashboards and compliance reports for regulations such as the EU’s CSRD.
