Sustainable Wellness Partner with FuturePlus

FuturePlus

Over the last two years, Sustainable Wellness have witnessed the growing demand for guidance and support to measure and improve sustainability for the wider hospitality setting and a surge in interest from spa suppliers to find an affordable and educational way to approach the subject.

To meet this demand, Sustainable Wellness have formed a partnership with The Sustainability Group to provide access to a full spectrum of support for hotel and leisure destinations as well as the entire spa & hospitality supply chain through their platform, FuturePlus.

Lucy Brialey Founder of Sustainable Wellness told us “Our partnership with FuturePlus has brought a whole new dimension to our association.?We launched the Sustainable Spa Association (now Sustainable Wellness) with the purpose of advising and uplifting sustainability for spa and wellness destinations. Our spa members are mainly situated in larger hospitality settings and we very quickly realised the growing need and demand for advice, guidance and the measurement of sustainability for hotels and the supply chain. We spent our time looking at all the options and we are confident that the methodology and support that FuturePlus provides is ideal for our sector”

The FuturePlus methodology is fast becoming the number 1. system used by the spa, wellness and hospitality industry, to drive improvement through the sector and understand where they can make difference. Rather than setting a benchmark to be reached, FuturePlus provides a score to measure the success of every unique sustainability strategy. These scores allow organisations to understand where they are in relation to the spa, wellness and hospitality industry, as well as their own unique goals. The helpful team at FuturePlus then uses these scores to create each organisation a bespoke sustainability strategy to ensure results are measured and goals are met across five categories of Climate, Diversity & Inclusion, Social, Economic and Environment.
