???? Sustainable Mobility in New York
Welcome to the October edition of the CarMedialab newsletter! Today we are excited to share some news from one of the world's most vibrant metropolises: New York City! ??
With a population of over 19 million, New York relies on its public transportation system to efficiently move millions of people around the city every day. With about 5,800 buses serving more than 300 routes, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) operates one of the largest bus fleets in the world. Approximately two million passengers use these buses every day. MTA's goal is to become carbon neutral by 2040 – a development that will be driven by the expansion of electric and zero emission buses. It is great to see that?New York is taking big steps towards sustainable mobility. ??
CarMedialab is proud to support MTA on this important journey and to contribute to this electrification with the?charge management solution. In this way, we support the development of a sustainable transport infrastructure while improving the efficiency and reliability of the e-bus fleet in daily operation. We look forward to this exciting project in one of the world's largest and most dynamic cities! ??

?? Standard Interfaces in Public Transport – the key to efficient e-bus operation
The electrification of bus fleets poses new challenges for transport operators. Of particular importance is the integration of e-buses and charge management systems via standardized interfaces. These standards ensure seamless communication between vehicles, charging infrastructure and management systems – a key requirement for the cost-effective and reliable operation of any electric fleet.
Standardized interfaces not only ensure seamless integration, but also enable the use of technologies from different manufacturers. This gives transport operators the flexibility to respond to new developments without being tied to specific vendors. In the long term, this creates planning security and helps to reduce costs.
CarMedialab offers a customized charge management solution, based on proven interface standards that ensure compatibility and flexibility. This ensures that the bus fleet is always ready for use.
The following overview gives you all the important information about the relevant standard interfaces in the field of electric buses and charge management. Discover how to successfully implement the electrification of a fleet.

???Data Central: The Future of Data Acquisition
In the automotive industry, the efficient collection and management of data is a key factor for success. However, remote measurement technology often presents challenges, whether due to complex systems, confusing data flows or limited control over measurement processes. Ensuring real-time visibility and seamless data management is critical to optimizing development processes.
With Data Central, CarMedialab has developed a new software solution that addresses exactly these requirements. The platform makes data acquisition, remote monitoring and data management more efficient and transparent. Engineers can now precisely control and monitor their measurement systems, even remotely, using a user-friendly interface.
Whether managing an entire fleet of vehicles, creating measurement tasks or storing data, Data Central provides a streamlined approach to data collection management and helps reduce complexity.
