However, SAF presents extensive opportunities. As the aviation industry strives to reduce its environmental impact, SAF offers a practical and scalable solution. Airlines around the world are increasingly recognising the importance of transitioning to more sustainable fuel sources. This shift demonstrates the industry's commitment to sustainability and highlights the growing recognition that adopting SAF is essential for the future of aviation.

Governments are also stepping up to support the widespread adoption of SAF. By offering financial incentives, subsidies, and favourable regulatory frameworks, they encourage fuel producers to invest in scaling up SAF production. This collaborative effort between the aviation industry, governments, and fuel producers is crucial to overcoming the challenges associated with SAF adoption. As production increases and costs decrease, SAF has the potential to become a mainstream solution, significantly contributing to the global effort to combat climate change.
