Thanks Ana! It's sad to see Nike lagging behind on human rights issues but heartening to see Apple adopt a firm attitude with its suppliers. This excerpt: "In 2022, the company urged its supply chain to decarbonize their entire Apple-related Scope 1 and 2 emissions footprint, and notified suppliers that progress towards these goals would be one of the key criteria considered when awarding business.?Apple revealed earlier this year?that suppliers representing 95% of its manufacturing spend have committed to use 100% renewable energy for Apple production by 2030, and that the use of clean energy in its supply chain had increased by 20% in a year to 16.5 GW."

Thanks, Ana! Lots of interesting information. Just read about the palm oil the other day. Interesting how can the EU's deforestation-related commodity ban serve as a catalyst for Indonesian palm oil producers to embrace sustainable practices and reduce the environmental impact of palm oil production.
