4S – Smart Solutions for Spinning Success, the Automated Blow room Line, Wider width Card, Twin Delivery Draw frame, Higher spindleage in Speed Frame (280 Spindles) and Ring Frame (1824 Spindles) are some of the LMW’s High productivity Smart Series Machines which offer benefits like power savings, manpower savings and higher space savings which leads to less lighting, lower humidification requirements etc.

LMW preparatory machines are equipped with IE3 motors and Ring frame with IE4 motors which supports, Lower power consumption, Higher efficiency & Reducing GHG (Green House Gas) emissions. In general, Ring Frames are estimated to consume more than 50% of total power consumed in a spinning mill and the IE3 & IE4 motors help in reducing power consumption and GHG to a significant extent. All electronic items from LMW are compliant with ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards.

The Smart Servo Technology has been adopted in all LMW solution offerings which enables the elimination of Mechanical gears which results in minimization of lubricants / chemical usage in the operations.

Spinpact - LMW Suction Compact System
Products from LMW are compatible with processing recycled fibres and producing recycled yarn which leads to Circularity. Due to recycling of yarn, approximately 8000 – 10000 litres of water used for producing per kg of cotton can be preserved.

The components and spares offerings from LMW PACE are designed with the state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with latest technology for higher productivity, superior quality levels and lower power consumption. The High energy efficiency and low noise HLLD and HLED Spindles (up to 10% savings) and the special profile and unique design for rings enables high productivity and lower power consumption. All Performance Enhancement Kit (PEK’s) from LMW PACE are specifically designed to achieve Power Savings, High Productivity and High Quality.

Sustainability as a way of life

LMW as a company leads by example in sustainable practices through many initiatives. LMW has a dedicated Environmental team to take care of water & Environmental management. In-line with LMW’s Zero Water Discharge Concept, Water Consumption & other Green Initiative Projects, the below activities have been undertaken,

  • Generation of renewable energy from Wind and solar power for captive use
  • Installation of a Reverse osmosis plant to recycle and reuse of water along with Zero liquid discharge system
  • Creation of internal rainwater harvesting ponds
  • Implementation of water saving concepts such as water level controllers, Sensor type taps...etc to conserve the water consumption
  • Green belt development drive to promote and increase plantation and greenery

LMW is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certified company. The carbon emission of the company is being monitored since the last four years under scope 1 & 2 for and necessary preventive and corrective actions are being taken real-time for energy savings and reduction of emissions.
