?Sustainable Manufacturing: Toyota Texas is celebrating the start of production on the all-new, all-hybrid Toyota Sequoia. Alongside the all-new Tundra, the vehicle will be exclusively assembled in San Antonio’s upgraded facility. To celebrate, Toyota Texas donated a combined $100,000 to the San Antonio River Foundation and the San Antonio Parks Foundation in support of tree preservation and other local environmental stewardship initiatives. ?Sustainable Banking: Sustainability has become a topic of crucial importance for many corporations, including financial institutions. One reflection of this is the strong growth in sustainable debt instruments, which according to BloombergNEF surpassed $1.6 trillion in 2021. ?Carbon Offset: RevLifter, the leading eCommerce deals personalization platform, is looking to combat global carbon emissions by giving online retailers the opportunity to plant trees in exchange for sales made by their customers. The group's new offer type - Green Offers - is powered by a partnership with environmental organization Ecologi, which has offset over 2.2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions by supporting reforestation projects in countries like Madagascar, Mozambique, and Uganda. ?Circular Economy: The first iteration, in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and Food Tech Valley, sought to identify regional startups with innovative solutions focused on sustainable packaging and recycling, driving forward PepsiCo Positive (pep+) goals to help build a circular and inclusive value chain. Nadeera was chosen following a rigorous judging process, and awarded a six-month PepsiCo mentorship program.
