Dear all,?
Building a sustainability-driven business or implementing sustainability in an existing organization might be challenging and can lead to complex situations.?
We've added some new features to help you start practicing, insights, and tools to build your sustainability strategy.
"The Framework for Sustainability Conversations" is an open-source rulebook to determine what we are optimizing for, identify biases, and influence our ability to make better choices, judgments, and decisions.
The Framework for Sustainability Conversations is the product of a transition: exploring the fundamental aspects of sustainability from an interdisciplinary perspective, analyzing opportunities, and leveraging innovation through technology to better invest in the future.
We believe in the power of conversations among leaders, team members, and overall people. It requires empathy, emotional intelligence, and knowledge.
Every Tuesday, I'll publish a post on one of the six dynamics of the Framework for Sustainability Conversations, called "Sustainability 101."
You can check it and comment or ask questions here; we're here to help and collaborate: this week is about open governance and compliance. I am keen to start discussions around this week's topics:?governance,?ESG, and?compliance.
I appreciate you.?
Yael

3. Commentary: "the shift to a sustainable economy: ending the stalemate", part 1/3, 2022, weeks 34
It is tempting to see the evolution of an organization as a grand progressive ladder with?leaders?emerging at the top. But evolution produces a core, not a ladder — and a business is just one of many twigs on the tree.—Yael Rozencwajg
Most organizations and institutions encourage conformity throughout our lives. It comes at a high price regarding employee engagement, performance, and innovation. This, while in the real world, most companies operate in a dynamic competition, not in the static world of much economic theory.
The pursuit of a constant balance originating from paradigm shifts toward innovative solutions pressures the whole environment and, ultimately, the shareholders, competitors, customers, and regulators.?
