Only three months after the New York Court’s decision to fine and enjoin Trump, FTI is now facing civil claims in a Florida federal court that it violated the Federal Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act (“Federal Civil RICO”), and the Florida Criminal RICO Act. ? The lawsuit’s allegations claim that FTI Consulting’s conduct supported the criminal Enterprise by using its infamous and diverse arsenal of forensic experts, cyber-media influencing technology and corporate crisis management triage specialist to fraudulent interfere with judicial proceedings involving Plaintiff and others. ?

With respect to the Plaintiff, the lawsuit claims that FTI and its associates, called an imposter expert witness to testify at an injunction hearing as part of a corporate rescue operation of Insurance Office of America, who with its founding family, John Ritenour, Valli Ritenour and #HeathRitenour, were accused in several lawsuits alleging violations of Florida’s RICO Act.

The Pathway to the 2024 Carrier Lawsuit Including FTI ? ?

In 2019, #InsuranceOffficeofAmericaJohnRitenour, John Ritenour and #InsuranceOfficeofAmericaHeatherRitenour were sued in Broward County, Florida by a former agent under the Florida RICO Act amongst other claims.? FTI was retained to create a crisis management plan and protocol to protect IOA, and the Advisory Firm’s other clients, the Carriers and its role in the conveyer belt of profiteering. ?

The 2019 Lawsuit general allegations were that #JohnRitenour, #ValliRitenour and #HeathRitenour, founders and leaders of Insurance Office of America, engaged in allegedly stealing millions of commissions from Plaintiff and other agents, and using a substantial part of that money to inflate IOA Group, LLC’s, parent of Insurance Office of America,? private stock in the years leading up to John Ritenour’s alleged retirement in 2019. ? ?

The 2019 Lawsuit was followed by three other lawsuits, filed by two different law firms, the last of which being filed on February 26, 2020. ? On March 24, 2020, as part of this crisis management strategy, Insurance Office of America , #HeathRitenourandJohnRitenour filed what has been described in court papers as an unprecedented and illegal SLAPP lawsuit against all four litigants, two law firms and two lawyers. ?

#HeathRitenourIOA described this as a Countersuit although it was filed as a “plaintiff’s” said suit and the same was alleged to harass and drain the resources of the litigants in a form of war of attrition. ? When several of the Defendants refused to walk away, the strategy was to file and prosecute an injunction motion to stop the public announcements on social media and in press releases. ?

On March 2, 2021, without the Defendants’ knowing at the time, a FTI Senior Director, Kevin Leung showed upon and remotely testified claiming to be with FTI for over a decade and having numerous credentials in forensic data collection, storage and analysis.? However, this turned out not to be true and shortly after the 2024 Carrier Case was filed, it was discovered that evidence may exist that Leung was an imposter and that FTI had been using a cyber social engineering attack on the Judge in the 2020 Case, as well as the Judge in the 2019 Case which had been transfer from Broward to Seminole County.? ?

Originally, FTI was not a Defendant in the March 15, 2024 case against the Insurance Carriers.? The Original Complaint alleged that the 18 Carrier Defendants profited from IOA’s deceptive practices of selling insurance promising customers they would receive a legitimate insurance score, similar to a credit score issued by a credit bureau, however, the lawsuit claims that was not accurate and that that score, aka #RISKSCORE, was a means to manipulate the price of insurance premiums which favored certain carriers as to certain lines and other carriers as to others, but in the end, the customers generally paid more for their insurance policy premiums.? ?

Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that the Carriers also profited from schemes know as bid rigging, steering and paying back end financial perks in return for guaranteed renewals of bundles of insurance policies.? ?

An Accidental Discovery Leads to a Rabbit Hole of Alleged Fraud

On April 1, 2024, it was discovered that there was a website that appeared to be directed at the Court in the 2020 Defamation Case and the same led down a path to allegations that FTI’s crisis management operation was full of fraud and that Kevin Leung was allegedly an actor, that his Linked Profiled had been started in April 2020, the exact same time that the 2020 lawsuit had just started and further research is alleged to have revealed that Kevin Leung may have served in the armed forces. ? ?
