Suspended from LinkedIn, Reinstated, No Reason Given for Either, No Notification of Reinstatement
As the 20,700+ members of the International Relations Professional Discussions group will have all noticed, I was suspended from LinkedIn over a day ago. This ipso facto resulted in all members of this group I am the "owner" of not being able to access it. Here is why this is unacceptable and why I won't leave it at that:
(1) I was given no specific reason for my suspension: I just found myself suspended without warning or notice except for the generic page which shows in such cases;
(2) I just found myself reinstated this morning (CET) without notice ( I was told by two members of this group that it could again be accessed) and of course without any reason given. In other words I don't know why my account was suspended and I don't know why it was reinstated.
I have asked my attorney in DC and a retired top FBI official to look into the matter and recommend action. Although I am a JD this is not the part of the law I am most familiar with (I specialized in international law and EU law, as well as constitutional law, hence the need for external advice.)
This type of behavior i,s I hope you will all agree, most uncivilized and unacceptable. It seems the guilty party is once again Safety & Trust (they will correct me if I am wrong). This is the second time in a short period that exactly the same sequence of event takes place. Has LI Safety & Trust ever heard of due process?

Someone decided they don’t like one of your posts. My guess.
