An engineer drops out, a philanthropist, a struggler and finally one successful actor who revolved around the stardom in Just 12 years and achieved the splendid success, looking back one can learn many lessons from the life of this “Liberian” who demonstrated success in such a short time. Few lessons which anyone can from this Saga of Success are and sharing with few untold stories from Sushant Singh Rajput’s life.
Gem -1: Well begun is half done: National Olympiad winner in physics, someone who cleared 11 entrance exams of engineering and secured 07th rank in DCE (Delhi College of engineering). As they say in the book 50th Law by Robert Greene – “Push your limit” to only one degree extra per day and result will be spectacular success waiting for you.
Gem -2: Learn from Leaders: When Sushant decided to enter in Acting career, he chose to join the Masteros of the field, “Shaimak Davar Dance Class, Barry John Drama Class, and Nadira Babbar ekjute theatre group. As mentioned in the book Bounce by “Matthew Syed” – Even minor details of your coach can inspire you to work hardest for your success, whenever we see the slightest similarity between someone successful and ourselves, we get motivated to attain exponential results.
Gem -3: WIG – Widely Important Goal: in 2008 from the stage of Ekjute theatre, Sushant got noticed by Balaji group and started small as Preet Juneja but finally got popular as Manav Deshmukh of pavitra Rishta and won five awards in two years, As Jim Hulling mentioned in his book the four discipline of execution, he mentioned instead of focussing on many things just focus on one thing at a time which is your widely important Goal
Gem-4: Passion Promote Success: Dr. Allen Zimmerman mentions in his book The Payoff Principal that it’s your passion which creates the purpose to achieve your goal, starting as Ishaan of Kai Po che to Anirudh Pathak of “Chhhichhore”, Sushant put the level best and able to share the masterpiece like MSD, PK, Shuddh Desi Romance almost 12 movies in seven years, this can be only possible once you have passion for your profession.
Gem-5: Happiness Journal: Neil Pasricha – Author of “The Happiness Equation” and another book named “The Happiness Advantage” by Shwan Anchor suggest that best way to keep yourself away from any negativity or depression is Keep Happiness journal with you –a small diary where you write the things which give you happiness small or big and keep updating the same. And Shawn suggested the Tetris way which means surround yourself with positive people, successful and motivated people to avoid any negativity.

4 年I was terribly upset when I got to know that Sushant decided to end up his jouney of life in the middle of the way. I wish he would have counted the virtues he was blessed with before taking the drastic step. RIP

4 年Very well you wrote Vivek, its profound. People succumb most of the times because of their emotional burdens, social, economic and political insecurities. Our brain has been wired so much to compete and compare with others rather self. Society needs to be more empathetic and listeners than judgmental.

4 年Nicely written Vivek, but the references from Books and quotes are taking away the attention from the content. SSR’s achievements don’t need comparison from any quote I guess... he is a legend already. Keep up the good work ??
