Look at how Ikea, Next, Habitat, John Lewis and Heals all present living space. Sell the sizzle and dress the property beautifully. If your buyer has not asked you to buy your furniture at each and every transaction, you need to look at improving your skills in presenting your property to the market.?
First Step – Go to your nearest Ikea, Next, John Lewis?etc?and see how they present their kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms. See the kit and buy it!??
Second Step – Create your “posing kit” this will move from property to property and will make people feel at home. You want someone to walk into the house you have for sale and already be able to see themselves living there. They need to feel at home.?
Third Step – Keep on top of the presentation of your property. Even when the property is renovated, your posing kit is in and it is on the market. It is still important to keep up the good looks. I usually engage in a cleaning service to clean once a fortnight. The Dead fly on the windowsill is not good for sales. Also make sure you collect any mail regularly and ensure the lights and heating are on a timer in darker months so the?property?feels warm and welcoming to those viewing.?
