What is your morning routine???
I generally bounce out of bed as I love what I do. I have a gratitude diary and daily (or almost daily) write 3 things I am grateful for. This is a technique I read about in a well-researched book called “authentic happiness” by Martin Seligman. It enables you to focus on the good in your life, rather than the problems and increases your happiness levels, which I am all for.
I then set out my key tasks for the day. I aim for 3 per day, made up of 2 important tasks which will move the business forward. Important tasks don’t yell they whisper. Yet if you neglect to do them, they become firefighting in about 6 months. I much prefer to be front footed in my business, rather than firefighting. I’ll?focus on one?firefighting?task daily with the remainder of my time driving my business forward.?
This?technique?really works as you move from being on the back foot to the front foot, but it takes a couple of months to tilt forward.??
