Surround Yourself With The Right People

Surround Yourself With The Right People

We women often talk about wanting a “seat at the table” and "breaking the glass ceiling". Which is fine but can lead us to focus on the wrong things.

Because there are lots of rooms - and tables - out there. And so, the question is...

Are you aiming for the right ones (i.e., the ones that fit your values, needs and priorities)?

The single biggest way to ensure you are (and also to ensure more success) is to surround yourself with the right people.

This goes for everyone (whether you're a man or woman).

Why The People Who Surround You Matter

The people you surround yourself with:

  • Reflect your actual priorities.
  • Shape you (whether you realize it or not).
  • Impact your success (and failure).

And yes, you have a choice in who these people are. No matter where you work or your circumstances, it's important for you to have a network of people who are there to help you succeed (by whatever definition you choose).

People who:

  • Believe in you and your vision.
  • Motivate and inspire you to go big.
  • Encourage you to keep going when things get hard.
  • Share knowledge and teach you how to do things better, faster, smarter.
  • Celebrate with you, and point out your accomplishments when you can't see them for what they are.

These people are the ones who help you BECOME the person you're capable of being.

Take a look who currently surrounds you.

Do you have a strong network of people surrounding you who understand what you're going through and will help brainstorm with you?

That includes people who are where you want to be (or who have achieved the type of things you want to achieve)?

And that also includes those who are outside of your work and industry (who will see things differently)?

If not, it's time to built that network.

And if you do, be sure you're using the network you have to your benefit.

Quick note about the urge to "prove" yourself by going solo...

Stop it.

You’re not wired to go it alone.

As my former client (and member of my mastermind, ELEVATE) Sabrina put it…“I’ve always believed I needed to figure everything out on my own, but now I know that’s not true.”

Going solo means more stress, anxiety and overwhelm. And also slower (sometimes less) progress. It can even mean certain failure.

Don’t make that mistake.

Want A Network Of Peers + A Mentor To Help You Achieve Your Big Dreams For Your Practice?

That's what ELEVATE Attorney Business Mastermind is designed for. Inside of ELEVATE you’ll:

  • Be supported by peers who understand your struggles and always have your back.
  • Get knowledge & guidance from an expert who’s been in your shoes (and prevailed).
  • Be inspired, challenged and encouraged to make your big, bold dreams a reality.

Doors open soon and you can now sign up for the waitlist to ensure you're one of the first to know (and get several exciting bonuses).

If you're ready to make a bigger impact through your work while doubling (even tripling) revenues without the stress, anxiety or overwhelm, learn about and join the waitlist to ELEVATE >>>here.

If you show me the five people you spend the most time with, I can tell you a lot about where you are and where you're going.
