SURRENDER.

Who do you know experiences or want to experience effortless joy in the process of achieving her/his goal?
Many of us get what we want by having fixations, obsessions or cravings where we dwell on what we want over and over again, making the whole process unnecessarily stressful and unenjoyable.
Surrendering is not the the same as being indifferent. When we surrender, we are not saying that we don’t care what happens. On the contrary, we are saying we are open to whatever comes up and when it does, we will know what next step to take.
Surrendering is also not the same as fantasising or leaving it to chance. Actions, and often hard work, are still required to create the life we want. We just don’t have to lose our silent/grounded center in the process. In this grounded-ness, we experience a quiet confidence, that guides us into effectively doing things that matter to us and weeding out the inessential busyness and struggle.

Have you “tried” to surrender to a desired outcome and was unsuccessful?
Is there a time or situation where you dwelled on the outcome you wanted over and over again, but did not achieve? And at some point you surrendered and forgot about it and soon after that, you achieved the exact outcome you had wanted?
In what way was surrendering instrumental in achieving your goal?
What changed when you surrendered? What was possible??
