The sun MUST surrender to the darkness each and every day so that the next day is born.
In the creation story of the Old Testament / Torah, ALL was "dark and void" FIRST!
"And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." ~ Genesis 1:2 Torah
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." ~ Isaiah 45:7
It sure appears to me that the ancient repeatedly reminded us that God / Spirit / The Creative Force LIVED and EXISTED and CAME FORTH from the darkness.
NOT the Light.
The DARKNESS creates the LIGHT! No matter what you've been told or taught this is a FUNDAMENTAL truth.
I've spent the last 10 years toiling in the darkness.
Let me assure you this: the DAWN is coming. I feel it and KNOW it; and you must take heart and stay strong because the same is true for YOU.
For ANYTHING new to live something FIRST must die.
Death and Birth are two opposite poles of the same dance.
Yes, the death is the hard part; and it's THAT VERY PART that brings MASTERY.
Dr. Anders Ericcson from Florida State has proven through his research that it takes a MINIMUM of 10,000 hours to develop mastery. That's 3 hours per day for a minimum of 10 years of deliberate practice, growth, grit, resilience and consistency.
I've taken this 10 year journey AT LEAST 3 TIMES in my life.
If you're in the dark right now I OF ALL PEOPLE understand how you feel. I KNOW the journey well. VERY well.
It's worth it.
