In a Surprising Twist, Corporation Becomes 10,460th Company to Name Office Rooms After City Neighborhoods

In a groundbreaking move that has left the corporate world in awe, executives at the local corporation "Really Super Creative Ideas Inc." have unveiled their latest stroke of genius: renaming office rooms after neighborhoods from the city.

"We're thrilled to announce our innovative approach to office space nomenclature, we don't think anyone has ever done this before" declared CEO, Mr. Stuffy McSuit, with a straight face that could only be described as 'trying to get you to come into the office on Friday's'.

"By naming our meeting rooms after neighborhoods, we're fostering a sense of community and geographical awareness among our employees. I mean, these are neighborhoods in our city. Get it?! Plus, it's a totally original idea that we definitely didn't borrow from any other companies in the city."

The announcement, which was met with a chorus of stifled yawns and eye rolls, has raised eyebrows among employees who were expecting something a tad more, well, creative.

A visual summary of the reaction of 98% of the companies' employees

"I mean, seriously? Naming rooms after neighborhoods? How groundbreaking," remarked one employee, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of being banished to the dreaded 'Suburbia Conference Room'.

Reports suggest that the company's HR department is already brainstorming ways to spice up the idea, including themed decorations, avatars of people who stereotypically live in those neighborhoods, and plug-n-play jokes to use on Slack when coordinating which of these perfectly named rooms your next unnecessary meeting will be held in.

"I can't wait to have my meetings in the 'Wicker Park' room," quipped another employee. "Maybe they'll even provide artisanal coffee and fixie bikes for us to ride to work! And you know ironic mustaches will be 100% required."

Yea, the room was right, she has a crazy look in her eye!

In a rare, but poignant moment, one of the rooms themselves was also available for comment, "My buddy told me they do this to other perfectly good meeting rooms in other offices around town, it's a scourge. We're more than a neighborhood, and we don't appreciate being pigeonholed. The HR Director that just walked down the hallway looked over at me with insane joy when she saw my new neighborhood-themed-name, it kinda freaked me out.'

While the rest of the corporate world struggles to catch up with this unparalleled display of creativity, Really Super Creative Ideas Inc. is already looking ahead to their next groundbreaking endeavor: replacing the office water cooler with a craft beer tap and cereal dispensers, because, you know, that's never been done before either!

We'll just have to see who latches on to this totally unique idea next!

In the office where I work, they are named after local concert venues, the largest one is Pine Knob. :)
