1 年Very useful article. Another thought to add is project team member motivation. If a project team member is assigned to a project and still has to complete operational tasks, the project team member may only see more work without additional compensation. I think that having dedicated project team members shows management and company buy in to the project that translates to the project team members. Investment increases motivation and a sense of equity. Do you have thoughts on this view?Bonnie Biafore

1 年Thank you for this insight Bonnie. We do hope this view gains more traction. Wise CEOs should review the total cost of their projects and programs the last 10 years. Come and go project members appear cheap at an instance, but in the long run it can cost the organizations at least tenfold more. Now, with the help of AI, this is the best time to make room for the best talents to have dedicated continuing time for projects. Not only they can leverage their unique non-replicable deep knowledge but they can effectively pass it on to new entrants until they develop their own deep unique knowledge. The sustainability is worth more than gold - it is a goldmine.
