Proud to have been elected a member of the Surgeons of the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (S-ECCO). ECCO has many thousands members all commited to the care of IBD patients – as a Surgeon dedicating a significant part of his practice to the care of complex IBD patients I am honoured to be part of S-ECCO, looking forward to advancing the agenda of S-ECCO, namely the promotion of cooperation between all health care providers involved in the care of IBD, fostering education and patient care, participation to joint efforts in research and guidelines development, and providing surgical expertise for patients, colleagues, and the ECCO.
