Microsoft has released pricing and first stocks for the 5G versions of the Surface Pro range. There are two new models, with important differences for fleet buyers. Both let you draw, write, sketch and annotate on a high quality touch screen. Both can also be paired with an optional Surface Pro Keyboard cover as an alternative to a standard laptop.

5G mobile data lets you connect to the office or internet and use tools including Microsoft Teams without interruption almost anywhere.

1. Surface Pro 10 5G

This is powered by the new Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 U series processors. These feature 2x Performance Cores and 2x Intel AI Boost NPU cores for fast and efficient AI tasks.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus or Elite and Windows 11 on ARM

As a Copilot+PC the 11th Edition is designed for the latest AI features only found on Windows 11 24H2 and later. Powered by the Snapdragon X processor (based on high-end smartphone CPUs). Microsoft Prism provides high performance support for software designed for Intel or AMD powered PCs. Provides exceptional performance and a leap forward in compatibility and performance.

A new design with PixelSense Flow pen + touch screen, and compatibility with the Surface Pro keyboard make this a tempting option. Features include USB-C support and compatibility with the Surface Dock 2 and Surface Thunderbolt Dock (using USB-C 4 and DisplayPort).

Network compatibility

  • 5G models support either NanoSIM and eSIM, and can be used on most 5G networks worldwide with support for 5G mmWave, sub-6GHz and N48 bands.
  • Backwards compatibility for the most commonly used 4G LTE mobile data networks is supported.
  • Both feature Wi-Fi 7 for fast internet connectivity in crowded networks with backwards compatibility for older Wi-Fi networks.
  • Bluetooth 5.4 provides improved security when connecting new devices.

Windows compatibility

  • Both models are designed for Windows 11.
  • Surface Pro 10 may run Windows 10 as an unsupported device.
  • Surface Pro 11th Edition requires Windows 11 24H2 or later.
