?? Supporting Young Minds This Holiday Season

As the holidays approach, many young people face heightened stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges. At stem4, we're dedicated to ensuring they have the support they need, whenever and wherever they need it.

Thanks to your generosity, our Winter Appeal has already raised over £1600, helping us continue to provide our life-changing digital resources. But with 1.9 million young people in the UK lacking access to mental health support, the need remains critical.

?? How You’ve Helped So Far

Thanks to your incredible generosity, our Winter Appeal has already raised over £1,000, enabling us to provide life-changing digital resources to 1,000 young people in need.

In 2023, only 30% of young people in the UK received mental health support, leaving 1.9 million without help. At stem4, we are working hard to bridge this gap. Last year, our apps supported 300,000 young people, offering tools to manage anxiety, low mood, self-harm, eating disorders, and low self-worth.

Your continued support helps us keep our apps running, safe, and accessible for all young people, particularly those who might otherwise go without support. Click here to watch our Winter Appeal video.

Together, we’re making a real difference. Let’s keep the momentum going. Donate Today

A Lifeline Through Tough Times: Sarah's* Experience with Calm Harm

Having PTSD triggers that induce extreme emotional flashbacks recently has caused almost constant, inescapable feelings of anxiety, which in turn triggered my self-harm urges. The suggestions on Calm Harm helped me realize there are other ways to escape, and I didn’t even need to complete the setup to use the tools.

The creators clearly have a deep understanding of DBT skills and truly care about users’ mental health. While I am lucky to have access to professional help, this app has helped me cope tremendously. It’s so much better than others, like I Am Sober, which do nothing but make you feel bad when you press reset.

Calm Harm is now a permanent addition to my home screen. The little characters also help—it’s amazing how something so simple and adorable can lift your mood.
