Supporting WA school principals

Natalie helps schools create positive branding, to grow communities, by providing specialist photography and leadership.
Supporting the work of WA’s school principals is a key part of the Fotoworks’ ethos.
Looking to tomorrow. Learning together.?
That’s the mission statement for this year’s Western Australian Primary Principals' Association (WAPPA) Conference at Crown Perth, and they are sentiments that I have always shared.?
As managing director of Fotoworks, my close-knit team and I have been visiting WA schools from Cape Leveque to Leonora, photographing school children and becoming an integral part of a school’s annual calendar of events.?
We create one-off special event photography to mark a special occasion, are there for school balls and graduations, and zoom high above the heads of whole classrooms of kids with our experienced drone photography operators.?
We’re innovative yet old-school, we enjoy the process of working with clients to achieve their vision of school photography done their way – or just as it has always been throughout the years. We put the client first and make sure the children in front of our lenses are treated with respect, kindness, and humour, on what can be a stressful occasion for some.
To do all this, we never forget that the client comes first – and in many cases, the client is a school principal with a never-ending list of things on their to-do list who just wants the school photography day – well - done.

We have built up strong relationships with school principals who oversee these incredible places of learning, and being re-booked, year after year, is the greatest validation of our special approach to creating the school photos which become long-lasting records, saved and cherished by WA families for years to come.?
The future of WA is in the hands of school principals and their teaching teams, and we play a small but valuable part in memorialising the pathways the children they educate take, from those nervous first moments of day one in Kindy to the final exhilarating day of graduation.?
As a company, it’s important to be involved with events that not only give us the chance to network and grow our business but also match our own aims and brand values. We are proud to be major partners of WAPPA and their conference again this year.?
As the professional association for primary school education leaders across Western Australia, WAPPA provides?support, advocacy, leadership and connection to over 1,100 members. It’s an organisation that works to impact and influence educational outcomes and strengthen school leadership.?
As a key partner in this approach – not just through our partnership during the conference but every day we are on the ground in WA schools – Fotoworks never takes for granted the impact their work has on the past, present and future of every child they encounter.?
The experience of school photo days should be a positive, fun-filled one, rather than something to be dreaded. My team is among the best in the business, and live and breathe our own version of ‘looking to tomorrow, learning together. It’s what makes our day jobs such a pleasure and a joy to perform.?
We are looking forward to meeting old and new friends at Crown Perth on August 30 through to September 1 and hope you’ll take the time to learn more about the Fotoworks difference for your next school photos day.
