SUPPORTING THE NETWORK ON FRIDAY

I was delighted to be able to give a presentation on Friday 23 August at the Breakfast Meeting in Coventry organised by Maxival Centre for Skills Development.

This was an excellent networking event. The first speaker was Nasha a Social Worker and her topic was 'Conversations with a Social Worker. She covered a number of intersting aspects of social work linking to safeguarding, spot contracts and risk management.

The second speaker was Andrew from Tann Law Solicitors who spoke of experinces and dilemmas assocoiated with sponsorship of international workers covering health & safety compliance, regulations, standards, the law, rules, etc. He also covered exploitation of workers including modern day slavery.

?The third speaker was Lovemore who spoke about care providers contribution to compassionate care linking it to intergrity, transformational leadership and Schein's three levels of culture.?

?I was the final speaker talking about regulatory qualifications and CPD accreditation of courses, events, webinars, etc.
