Supporting military families in Puget Sound

Blue Star Families really does a great job supporting military families with real life needs.

That's not only fair, helping people who defend the country, it's also a national security thing. Force retention and recruitment need families that continue to be passionate about military life.

The proof of that work was made more evident with the launching of their newest chapter in Puget Sound. It's the first of many that will open and support military families through the issues they face in the area, such as the high cost of living, isolation, and food insecurity.

Here we see them with Representative Adam Smith and Representative Marilyn Strickland, who seriously support military families nationwide through their hard work on the House Armed Services Committee. They join BSF's CEO Kathy Roth-Douquet and the Puget Sound Chapter's new Executive Director Sonia Ramirez-Garza, M.S. to demonstrate their support for Puget Sound military families
