Supporting Local Heroes

Supporting our community has always been a core value here at Expert Allies. We cherish all the connections we build and the positive impact we can have beyond the office.?

That’s why we’re so excited to share more about the two incredible local charities that we supported this month:??

Football Club Domlyan?

The story of football club "Domlyan" is one of rebirth.??

You see, it used to be the pride and joy of the village Domlyan, which is located in the Karlovo municipality, Plovdiv region. The football team was a regular participant in several championships of the Plovdiv region, until roughly 30 years ago, when it was closed.??

But the people of Domlyan couldn’t just leave things like that.?

In 2019, Dr. Ivo Vatev, Lazar Kazakov, the mayor of the village, Mano Manov, and other residents restored the team. It currently consists of 20 contestants who work hard to represent the community in the best way possible.?

Their story inspired us greatly. So, we decided to donate to their cause and help them improve the conditions of their football pitch, the sports facility, and equipment.??

Dari Znanie: Give Children the Gift of Education?

As September slowly steps in and the leaves begin turning, the next generations of future leaders and creators are going back to school.??

Unfortunately, not all are blessed with equal opportunities.?

There are, however, wonderful foundations, such as “Dari Znanie” (“Gift Knowlege” for our English-speaking friends), that organise additional educational activities under the motto "Give children the gift of education". The foundation came to be in October 2022, initially offering lessons in mathematics, Bulgarian and English, led by volunteers. As of today, they offer various other courses, including finance and IT.??

The foundation helps children from socially disadvantaged families, those, deprived of parental care, and those with special educational needs. In addition to the various courses, they also organise events aiming to help the kids advance their creative and sports capabilities. For those that need it, “Dari Znanie” provides the necessary equipment, teaching aids and tools.??

It was our greatest pleasure to support the foundation and provide those children with the means necessary to take over the world.??

That’s because, as you’ve come to know, inclusivity is something we greatly value:?

Inclusivity in the Workplace?

All people want to feel seen and respected and to have equal opportunities, no matter their background.?

This is true for every situation, including in the workplace.???

And so, all leaders – current and future – should have inclusivity as a priority when building and expanding their teams. The benefits go beyond the obvious. An inclusive workplace can:?
