Supporting Independence Day and Nonprofits.

Parades, picnics, and fireworks mark most Fourth of July celebrations, but this year, Mollard Consulting is making an investment.

We are proud sponsors of the 2019 New Albany Independence Day 5K hosted by the New Albany Symphony, a beloved community orchestra.

The event not only raises dollars and awareness for the New Albany Symphony’s programs, outreach, and endowment — race proceeds also support the New Albany High School Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Theatre Boosters; the New Albany Children’s Ballet Theatre; and the CATCO Is Kids production of Willy Wonka, Jr.

The race is inclusive with a 20-yard crawl for babies, 200-yard fun run for young children, pet parade, and walking and running options for the 5K. All races are done prior to the parade, so afterwards the community members remain to watch their neighbors march through the heart of New Albany.

We can think of no better way to celebrate the spirit of America than by supporting access to the arts in our community. The freedom to create and express oneself on the stage or in a studio is as fundamental as the other freedoms enshrined in the country’s founding documents.

Happy Independence Day.
