Andras Molnar leads Vitamin Kommando in Budapest, a project which has spun out of the long standing Budapest Bike Maffia collective. Twice a week, 15 volunteers meet to make sandwiches using donations from the wider public. 10 volunteers then go out to distribute the food to those in need by bike. Previously, this was mainly the homeless, but they have adapted the project to also feed those who have fled from Ukraine. Any left over sandwiches are donated to homeless shelters.

Volunteering is core to the ethos of the Budapest Bike Maffia collective and Vitamin Kommando alike - "demonstrating that we can all make a difference on our doorstep and that you can have fun as part of a dedicated team as the same time".
