Supporting each other through our Shine network

As an ally and as executive sponsor of our Shine network at PwC UK , I recognise the significance of equality and I strongly value the contribution of LGBTQ+ people to our firm and to society. I commit to continue to champion their progress and I’m proud that our Shine network provides an inclusive community and space for everyone - enabling our people to bring their whole selves to work, and helping us to continue to become more inclusive as a firm.?

All of our people networks, including Shine, help inform us what we do to become more inclusive as a firm. Their support and insight is invaluable, not least when considering questions like ‘how should we increase our understanding of intersectionality?’, ‘what we need to do to support our LGBTQ and + people?’, and ‘how can we enable our people to be themselves - genuinely and authentically?’.?

It is not always easy to be your authentic self, but when we are able to live authentically we feel happier and more valued. It’s up to all of us to support and include everyone we work with.

Great job Kevin. I'd be interested to speak with you in relation to our pathway project helping minority groups and people from less fortunate position to get a career. Would this be possible?
