Today, the brand is considered the benchmark for traditional Spanish soups worldwide - not only due to a range of fresh flavors, but also because of its sustainable production processes and standards. PepsiCo is working with local farmers in Guatemala to promote sustainable agriculture through the “Proud to be a Farmer” program. The program not only creates a livable income for farmers, but it supports a number of other sustainability initiatives as well. For example, it integrates soil and water conservation practices to offset production loss related to climate change. It also ensures that sustainable agriculture is passed down through generations of families by offering an educational and technical program for local youth. PepsiCo is working to realize zero deforestation in our company-owned and operated activities and supply chain.
